A business law firm in Nice with a cross-border practice.
The firm is based in Nice, but its practice is not confined to the city. Our matters involve France, Monaco, Italy, Luxembourg, Switzerland and London: companies owned from abroad that operate in France, contracts between French and Italian parties, judgments to be enforced in the Principality of Monaco, and estates spread across several legal systems. We conduct these matters in English, French and Italian. The international dimension, provided it is addressed from the outset, is often what determines the outcome.
The quality of written work comes first.
A contract is read twice: once when it is signed, and again by the court. We draft with that second reading in mind. Our written submissions, contracts and opinions cite legislation and case law precisely, and contain nothing that does not serve the decision to be made. Before any proceedings are issued, the strategy is agreed with the client: the objective, the prospects of success, the cost, the likely duration and the alternatives. Litigation is a tool that serves this strategy, and we never commence proceedings as a matter of course.
One lawyer, personally responsible for the entire matter.
Founded and led by Maître Michele Esposito, a French avocat admitted to the Nice Bar, the firm is independent and does not belong to any network. Every matter is conducted under the personal direction of Maître Esposito, who sets the strategy, supervises each step and reports to the client at regular intervals, without the client having to ask. Fees are agreed in writing before any work begins.
